The ceremony was led by Atty. Reginaldo Oben, Chairman; Mr. Don Juan Miguel Oben, President; Ms. Gina Loo, Vice President and General Manager; and Mr. Virgilio Angeles, Vice Chairman. They were joined by officials from Toyota Motor Philippines as well as representatives from the local government.
In their message, the management of Toyota Marilao emphasized the importance of the project in delivering faster, more accessible, and more efficient customer service to the province and its residents.
“Toyota Marilao will stand as a symbol of Toyota’s continuing commitment to providing world-class products and after-sales service.”
According to Mr. Don Juan Miguel Oben:
“We look forward to seeing this facility rise in the coming months—designed to welcome more customers into a safe, spacious, sustainable, and future-ready environment. We are excited for a smooth and successful construction journey ahead.”
The construction will feature a four-storey, state-of-the-art service center with a total floor area of 9,230 square meters, designed to accommodate up to 2,100 vehicles per month. The project is expected to be completed by the fourth quarter of 2026. Once operational, it is also expected to generate employment opportunities for local residents and contribute to the growth of the local economy in Bulacan.
The ceremony concluded with a symbolic shovel turning and photo opportunity, officially marking the start of the project.
Touted for their clean driving performance, fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEVs) emit only water vapour.
They run on electric power generated by the chemical reaction between oxygen from the air and hydrogen stored in tanks onboard. A compact battery pack stores extra energy, including any from regenerative braking.

These vehicles run solely on electric power and recharge when plugged in. Battery electric vehicles enable you to eliminate exhaust emissions from your journeys.
Instant torque and acceleration also give you maximum power without the need to shift gears. Experience a smooth and entertaining drive.

Like hybrid electrics, plug-in hybrid electrics come with two power sources – an electric motor for completing shorter trips on electric energy, and a secondary petrol engine for longer distance drives.
Their bigger battery enables them to go further on a full charge, and they can run solely on electric power for short journeys such that they do not produce emissions. You enjoy all the advantages of hybrids, with the added option of plug-in charging on the go to travel further on pure electric power.
Note that this model is not available in the Philippines.
Hybrid electrics offer power without compromise and charge on the go, while helping you reduce emissions and fuel consumption.
For city journeys, Toyota hybrid electrics can run purely on the electric motor. And when power is needed, both the petrol engine and the electric motor can combine and optimise for an exhilarating yet fuel-efficient drive.
